Who we are
Orbit is made and sold by SUPERORBIT LTD, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC906206). Our registered office is 2 South Harbour Street, Ayr KA7 1HZ. You can reach us at declan@superorbit.app.
These terms are the agreement between you and us. By subscribing to Orbit or using it, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy and Refunds & Cancellation page are part of them too.
What Orbit is
Orbit is a desktop app for Mac and Windows, with an optional companion app for Android phones. It runs Claude Code and Grok side by side, using your own subscriptions with Anthropic and xAI, signed in with your own accounts. Codex is coming soon: we're waiting on approval from OpenAI, and we can't promise when, or whether, it will arrive.
Your AI accounts
- Orbit doesn't sell, resell or include access to any AI model. To use a model in Orbit you need your own plan with the company that makes it, such as a Claude plan from Anthropic or SuperGrok from xAI.
- Those plans are between you and them. You must follow Anthropic's and xAI's own terms and usage policies, and their usage limits apply.
- Orbit runs the official Claude Code app on your computer. It doesn't modify it.
- We aren't responsible for those services: their outages, limits, prices or changes. If a provider changes something that stops a model working in Orbit, we'll tell you, and you can cancel at any time.
Your subscription
- Orbit is a monthly subscription. It renews each month until you cancel.
- The launch price is 29 a month in your currency: £29 in the UK, €29 in the eurozone and $29 everywhere else. You pay in the currency shown at checkout.
- If you join at the launch price, it's yours for life: it won't go up for as long as your subscription stays active. People who join after the launch price ends pay $49 a month (or the same in their currency).
- If your subscription ends and you join again later, you'll pay the price at that time. If you cancel but resume before your paid period runs out, you keep your price.
- Payments are taken by Stripe. If a payment fails, Stripe will try again for a while and Orbit keeps working meanwhile. If it still can't take payment, your subscription ends.
Cancelling
You can cancel any time in Orbit: open Settings, then Orbit account. Orbit keeps working until the end of the month you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. The Refunds & Cancellation page has the details, including your 14-day right to cancel.
Your licence to use Orbit
- While your subscription is active, we give you a personal licence to use Orbit on your own computers and phone. You can't transfer it.
- Orbit checks your subscription with our server now and then, and works offline for up to 7 days between checks.
- Please don't share your account, resell Orbit, get around its licence checks, or copy or reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows.
- Orbit belongs to us. Claude, Claude Code, Grok and Codex belong to the companies that make them.
Using Orbit
- You must be 18 or over to use Orbit.
- You're responsible for what you ask Orbit and its models to do, and for checking their work before you rely on it. AI models make mistakes.
- Orbit can change files, run commands and use a browser on your computer. It asks before certain actions. If you turn on full access, models can act without asking. Keep backups of anything important.
- Don't use Orbit to break the law, harm anyone, or break the AI companies' rules.
Your work
Your chats, files and anything you make with Orbit are yours, and they stay on your computer. If you publish a block to the Block Store, it becomes a public repository under your own GitHub account. You're responsible for what you publish, and GitHub's terms apply.
Changes to Orbit
We keep improving Orbit, so features will change. We won't take away something central to what you're paying for without telling you first. If we ever stop offering Orbit, we'll give you notice and refund any time you've paid for but can't use.
Our responsibility to you
- If you're a consumer, you have legal rights, for example that Orbit is as described and of satisfactory quality. Nothing in these terms takes those away.
- If we break these terms, we're responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result. We're not responsible for loss we couldn't have foreseen, for the AI companies' services, or for what their models produce.
- If you use Orbit for business, we're not responsible for lost profits, revenue, business or data. Our total responsibility to a business customer is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem.
- Nothing here limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't let us limit.
Ending your access
We can suspend or end your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Unless it's urgent, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll email you before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you can bring a claim in your local courts. If you live outside the UK, you keep any protections the law where you live gives you.
